STRATA III: Manifesting through the layers

Verum Ultimum Art Gallery invites artists to explore the theme, "STRATA: Manifesting through the Layers" for this third edition of this compelling theme & enter work that is any interpretation of the call. This exhibition will be VIRTUAL and displayed in Verum's exclusive 3D Gallery online. Please note: The Strata exhibit is not offered every year and this is only the 3rd iteration of this original Verum theme.

Strata refers to layers. The layers can be inferred as literal (in the material usage or striated appearance) or symbolic (as in layers of meaning & complexity). How is layering expressed through your work? Does your work reflect the layered aspects of of the impacted world? Does your work represent the complexity of current world traumas & socioeconomic striations? Or perhaps layering is an aspect of your process to achieve expression & beauty? As with all Verum's calls for art, the curator never seeks to drive the work, the hope is to unveil unique visions. All mediums & modes of expression are welcome. The term Strata may be interpreted in many ways, not meant to be a literal elucidation.  Verum Ultimum Gallery tasks artists to define “STRATA” for this third edition of this compelling theme.

Please note this exhibition will be ONLINE ONLY and will open virtually at the end of July and remain in the 3D Verum Virtual space through the end of August.

Benefits to online exhibitions at Verum Ultimum:

• A higher percentage of artists will be ACCEPTED! This exhibition is not confined by space.

• Selected artists will be featured in a virtual group exhibition online on the Verum Ultimum Art Gallery website; additionally works will be displayed in a gallery setting (with works appearing in scale) in Verum's virtual gallery platform. 

• The website remains comprehensive and exhibitions remain on the website beyond the exhibition dates

• An exhibition book will be produced and will remain in the Verum Ultimum library to be shared with visitors for years to come.

• Social media features and blog post features will be focused for 1 month

• Verum Ultimum enjoys a monthly reach of 30-50K through its website, google, and social media channels.

• Verum Ultimum average order value outperforms 93% of sites in the industry

Again, an exhibition book will be published, artists will be featured on social media posts, blogpost features, and on the Verum Ultimum website with a dedicated exhibition page. It is worth mentioning that Verum maintains a comprehensive online library on their website and all exhibitions remain on the gallery website for all Verum time (this is unique and most galleries do not maintain that level of presence).

Additional notes about Verum Virtual's presence:

Verum Ultimum has had a comprehensive online presence since 2013, but added the 3D virtual space to the Verum lineup in 2019.

I elect to continue the Verum Virtual 3D Gallery presence with 2-3 Verum Virtual exhibitions per season (in addition to Verum's brick and mortar showings). One of the benefits of Verum's 3D gallery is that the exhibitions showcase larger works and a higher percentage of works are accepted. Verum Virtual exhibits the artwork in scale.
