Verum's rotation of exhibitions would customarily close the year with their beloved annual "A Generous Kingdom: Art that explores symbolism, story, and beyond" exhibit, however this season seemed to whisper, holler, and howl for something different. The term kingdom was never meant as a literal elucidation (it was meant to signal the idea of realms in nature and beyond), but Queendom feels apropos for this edition. The rich tapestry of color, texture, and pattern that comprise this new sovereignty of expression is boundless! The revelation of materiality, form, and symbol marry in a way that is completely anew and singular to the pull of this theme (at this moment in time).
